SCHOOL RULES

The school has a positive discipline policy. There are only five rules that operate throughout the entire school.

  • 1. Do as you are told the first time.

  • 2. Keep hands, and feet and objects to yourself.

  • 3. Walk around school quietly.

  • 4. Put your hand up when you want to speak.

  • 5. Be kind to everyone.

All children are expected to obey these rules.

Parents of children at Meadowbank School are expected to support the schools discipline policy.

Irresponsible behaviour is dealt with firmly and fairly, sanctions being imposed calmly andconsistently.

If the unwanted behaviour persists parents are requested to visit school to help plan a joint home/school programme that will ensure the child achieves a more acceptable pattern of behaviour.
